Char. Design: Messenger

 My Final in character design was to design 2 characters within an original story and create a model out of one of the characters as well as to do an 80 storyboard scene with the 2 characters in it.  I decided to use characters from my "Messenger" story, Garag and Kobu.  I wasn't particularly happy with Garag's colors but oh well.

Karting

My nephew went Go-karting for his 10th birthday and I'm that cheap uncle that can't afford real presents :P

Avatar Jabali and his Gazellephant, Ragiwa

Character design: The assignment was to create 2 characters in a preexisting franchise.  I chose Avatar: The Last Airbender and I created a past avatar that Aang visits in the spirt world and his Spirit Animal. I based him off of the Masai warriors from Kenya because I thought it would be a fun, slightly original take on an earth-bending avatar.

One of my biggest weaknesses in environmental composition is focus.
I have a bad habbit of oversaturating the panel with too much detail and not planning a focal point.
you can bet your arse that this is what 'll be working on in the future!

Messenger: Serras inked

Been working mad hard on school work lately, decided to do some personal work for a change.  Happy with the inks on this, it seems that materials and techniques class id paying off :) Thanks Doug

Classwork: Nibs

Like the last assignment we had to recreate an image that the prof. gave us except this time inking it with nibs.  Was not happy with the out come of this one.  I hated it while inking it mainly because I was tired (6am will do that to you) and at the end I rushed it.... yeah.. the bush thing.
 Once I rested and looked back at it I was mad because it actually isn't that bad... except fot the damn bush thing... I'm probably gonna go back and fix it.

Classwork: Pitt pens

For Materials class we had to re-draw a picture that the prof gave us and ink it with pitt pens.  It came out all right can't say I'm too happy with it though.  Liked the pencils.

Classwork: The Goonies

We had to design 3 of the characters from "The Goonies" for animation.  I chose Mikey, Brand and of course Chunk.... lol truffle shuffle.
